We’re happy to officially announce the full details of our next release, The Experience EP by 0311 – out December 12, 2011.

After putting in the hours as a member of the respected Warsaw-based Underground Perception collective, Concrete Cut’s latest breakthrough Polish artist has chosen to release his debut EP under an enigmatic pseudonym – 0311. The five tracks of The Experience EP, fuse achingly nostalgic whispers, floating synths, and garage rhythms honed to their absolute essentials. The sound of 0311 was made for those almost accidentally introspective late night moments, when the crowd heads home, and the slaves of the sound system remain for one last moment of sonic bliss.

The name 0311 first appeared on the scene as one half of the 0311 / Black Galaxy project, with the duo’s material silently leaked across YouTube and Soundcloud, exploring deep house and techno territories, all with the muted crackle of a well-loved vinyl. Having played alongside the likes of Juan Atkins, Robert Hood, Marcel Dettmann, Steffi, and Derrick May (just a small fraction of the impeccable Underground Perception history), it’s no wonder 0311 seems expert at capturing those evocative, late- night moments. And with the more recent, post-dubstep bookings of Martyn, Scuba, and Synkro, the taste of UP has clearly grown alongside the musical evolution of 0311 and the creation of The Experience. And with track titles like “Late Nite” and “Warsaw Dream”, The Experience EP seems fated to become the crackling, comforting soundtrack to an imperfect city.
